I don’t know about you guys but my favourite part of doing my makeup has got to be my eye makeup. It is one of those things that if I had to choose one thing to put on everyday it would be eye makeup 100%. So as this is such a big step in my makeup routine, I thought I’d share it with you all.
The first thing I want to talk about is this ABSOLUTELY STUNNING palette from Makeup Revolution! As you can see by the packaging, of course I love it. Its rose gold people! But the packaging has nothing on the actual shades – oh my gosh, can we just take a minute to appreciate this?! Since the day I purchased this, I have worn it every single day, without fail. I highly recommend, especially as we are FINALLY coming into Autumn/Fall again – anyone else SUPER excited?! This palette costs only £8 for 32 shades and the pigment is insane. I am a huge lover of makeup revolution products as a whole but this is by far my favourite thing – ever. I usually apply this eyeshadow with my Sixplus Brushes, you can find out more about them in my recent post here.
My two new mascaras are such steals. Maybelline Colossal Big Shot and L’oreal Baby Roll. I actually found this combination by Floral Princess (Anastasia) on Youtube and I had to try it, and guys – wow – my eyelashes have never looked so good!! Its definitely up there with my Lash Sensational. They are both under £10 each and work miracles for your lashes. (Oh and my eyelash curlers are Primark – of course)
BROWSSSSS. Who doesn’t love a good brow? For a long time I didn’t see the big deal revolving around eyebrows until I tried it out for myself one day (no going back now). But, because of this reason, I only tried out cheap brow pencils or powders as I’m not very skilled in this area. Don’t get me wrong, they were good, but i never found anything I liked using. I now use the Freedom Brow Pomade in Blonde. I do like this, but the colour is a bit dark for me, which sucks as its the lightest shade, but it does the job and stays on all day – for only £5! To lighten it slightly, we go high end. As from all my beauty posts, you can see I’m definitely a drugstore gal, but oh mu gosh Benefit Gimme Brow is my life saver. It actually matches my brow colour!! It is £16, but it lasts sooooo long and is just a perfect shade – if you buy anything high end, this is what I recommend! I need to repurchase!
These are my basic essentials for my eye makeup. Whats your makeup essential you can’t live without? Let me know down below with your best makeup product to recommend, I’d love to try some more makeup out!
